In India, when someone is ill or recovering from illness, then Dalia & moong dal khichdi are often served. Even doctors recommend khichdi to patients. In Ayurveda, moong is one lentil which is recommended for balancing all three doshas. Even plain mung dal khichdi sans any seasoning or spices is consumed as part of a detox diet.

INGREDIENTS

Rice grains, Moong split dal, Iodized salt, Sugar, maize starch, spices & condiments (coriander powder, cumin powder, Asafoetida, chili powder & flakes, turmeric powder, ginger powder, cinnamon powder), Citric Acid, anticaking agent (551), and Contains added Natural & Nature identical flavouring substances.

COOKING METHOD

Gentle Method: 
1. Soak premix in water for 10minutes, drain the water.
2. Take 350ml (4 cup) water in pan, add 1tsp ghee/oil & boil.
3. Add the premix & seasoning pouch.
4. Stir & cook on medium flame for 15 minutes.
